Papers & Presents was founded in Boston, MA in 1988 by Virginia native Carolyn McCoy. Having been raised in the world of monograms and handwritten notes, Carolyn wanted to bring a bit of Southern flair and signature style to her New England surroundings. While working full time, she started offering her bespoke wares from the trunk of her car. Striking a nerve, the business found immediate success and grew rapidly. Today she creates custom stationery, party provisions and one-of-a-kind gifts for clients across the country.
